Catch your breath, let’s spill some tea and talk about wedding trends for next season 2025
We usually plan weddings a year ahead, so now preparations are in full swing, and here’s a sneak peek at a few top trends that will be particularly favoured next year.
Veil gets the centre stage. An absolute hit of 2024 season, a long veil will be billowing and floating well in 2025. It’s become a perfect addition to a bride’s outfit. Lace, tulle, appliqué or even coloured prints – such a veil immediately captures attention and gives the bride extra charm and mystery.
Content creators. Many couples have started hiring content creators to capture the highlights of their wedding. In addition to traditional photography and videography, content creators can help make short and fun videos for social media, friends and family, as well as broadcast your wedding live.
Vow Readings. The vow exchange is becoming more and more diverse. Not only do couples make promises of love and fidelity to each other, but they also tell why they are together, what exactly they value in each other, and so on. The amount of information is usually very large, so both the bride and groom hold sheets of paper with a written speech and take turns reading it out.
Fruit Decor. Why limit yourself with the flowers only? We are going an extra mile and use fruits to decorate the wedding table and even the ceremony area. The trend has been gaining popularity and we are already planning several weddings with some fruit decor. Fruits organically fit in with the floral decor and make the design more natural and creative. You can have a ‘Bacchus’ Caravaggio style vine or a walk down the aisle decorated with lemons, the choices are limitless!
Multi-day celebrations. As we deal mainly with destination weddings, most of our clients view the wedding as a perfect get-together with friends and a family reunion. The celebrations can span for almost a week, starting with a welcome drink and ending with a farewell brunch the day after the wedding. People have fun and enjoy their frolics for several days.
Creative seating arrangements. Couples are increasingly favouring shaped seating or curved shapes instead of classical seating arranged in a straight manner. This arrangement of tables creates a cool visual effect and contributes to an interesting guest experience where you can see guests almost at a 180-degree angle.
Second or third look. The first look is surely the most important, but how about adding some zest and change for cake cutting, thus making a new unforgettable first impression on your now husband? What if there is a third outfit? Having more than two dresses is a popular trend these days. One for the ceremony, one for reception and one for the party. Each time the bride appears in a new dress, each time the groom matches it, each time a new first impression!
